IF YOU PEE A LITTLE WHEN YOU COUGH, LAUGH, SNEEZE, OR JUMP...
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles.
The top triangle of muscles are the ones that squeeze around and close the urethra.
Some cues that work well for engaging these muscles are to imagine “pinching the labia” or “nodding the clitoris.”
Speed and coordination is key. Start with practicing quick pinches with 5 seconds of rest in between and then progress to engaging quickly before the activity that causes leakage.
If you are having a hard time isolating these muscles on your own, come see a Pelvic PT! It generally just takes a session or two to learn!
